Forehead lift in Thailand, also known as brow lift, can give the upper third of the face the same younger look that short scar facelift or traditional facelift in Thailand gives the lower two-thirds. Aesthetically, a wrinkled forehead with deep lines can make a person look angry or tired or both, thus, smoothing the forehead restores a rested, relaxed appearance that is characteristic of youth and a warm personality.
Though botox has been popularized to solve the problem areas on the upper face, more severe cases still necessitates a surgical forehead lift. The procedure may also be done in conjunction with lower face and neck lifting, eyelid surgery, Botox injection, injectable fillers, and other face surgery procedures in Thailand. Forehead lift may also be used to correct low positioned eye brows.
At Yoskarn Clinic, Prof. Kunachak employs different methods for different indications for your forehead lift in Thailand:
- THE ENDOSCOPIC Lift: The Endoscopic Lift in Thailand corrects the wrinkles on the forehead and the frown lines between the eyebrows while lifting the brows into its more suitable position. This procedure can be recommended for almost everyone and it is less invasive than the standard forehead lift surgery. During the endoscopic forehead lift, the muscles and tissues that cause furrowing or drooping are removed to smooth the forehead, raise the eyebrows and minimize frown lines. The surgery starts as our surgeon makes three or five short incisions around the scalp where the endoscope will then be inserted, allowing the surgeon a clear view of the muscles and tissues underneath the skin. Using another instrument Prof. Somyos can lift the underlying tissues of the forehead; bringing in the smoothening effect.
The procedure takes about 1 – 1 ½ hours while you are asleep under general anesthesia.
- THE SUSPENSION THREAD Lift: With the Suspension - thread lift in Thailnad, Prof. Kunachak can lift eyebrows and sagging jowls. Lifting of the eyebrows with the extended suture method can be done on its own, or in combination with an endoscopic brow and forehead lift. With this technique, our surgeon will insert an elastic and antibiotic thread subcutaneously with a long needle. only long small needles are inserted at the specified entry points along a specified plane therefore incisions are no longer necessary for this p[rocedure, making scarring less, and recovery short. It can also be done alone without the endoscopic technique.
The threads used for suspension threadlift will dissolve slowly when your collagen has encapsulated and bunched around the threads thus causing more lifting effect. With this, rejection of the threads is also minimized.
This procedure is best for patients who only need a minimal lift and with no excess skin since there will be no skin excision involved in the procedure.
- THE TRADITIonAL FORHEAD LIFT: Traditional forehead lift in Thailand involves in invasive incision across the forehead, below the hair line. Though this procedure is very seldom used nowaways due to the risk of scarring, extensive wrinkles on the forehead may warrant this technique. Traditional forehead lift in Thailand will have a longer recovery period for up to 2 weeks and the incision site may sometime be visible.
